I’ve been a little absent the past few weeks, I didn’t realize it has been so long since my last post. If you are wondering where I’ve been, it hasn’t been on vacation. We had a chance to get a few days of relaxation in, but the majority of my days- I have been knee deep in curriculum, end of school year grading, inputting all of the grades into excel spreadsheets, and starting to get the children’s following school year ready. Most of our curriculum and school supplies have arrived for next year and I always find it best to get it all organized and then take a mental break from thinking about ANYTHING school related before the new school year starts. ( So, I’m not ignoring yall completely- I’ve just been hyper-focused on getting this all done, and get to Summer Break)
It’s not that doing all of this is difficult, but it does take some time. My husband has been helping a lot by working at home as much as possible this past week, so I can focus on getting all of this done. The hardest part is trying to keep a toddler out of all the papers while I’m trying to organize it all. They may be cute, but they can cause a huge mess in no time at all. But I’m hoping to be done with most of it by the end of next week. (hopefully sooner!!)- and then– SUMMER BREAK!! WHOOHOO There is an end in sight! I can finally see it…
I also thought I would share with you the kindergarten diploma that I created for fun today. I’ve been looking for something to easily print and share (and free), but I didn’t really like a lot of the designs that I found, so I decided to create one myself. I knew my daughter would want something “pretty” compared to the usual diplomas. (and she loves flowers) You are welcome to print and use for personal use only by clicking on the image above or HERE.
You can also get a KindergarDen diploma here.
Thanks for hanging in there with me, I’ll be back to writing soon! 🙂
